Episode 144: Sour BanjoThe guys are joined this week by another brewery regular Mr. Arthur!! Darrell made the selection of beverages this week from the bin 'o beers in the back and happened to pick out all the sour beers so this one has a rather interesting start to it, especially since one of the cans looked like it was about to blow the lid off (see the picture on our facebook haha). Regardless, the first few beers go REALLY fast but the conversation flows pretty well, good stories and a couple more good beers after the sour start and a good time had by all!!

Episode 143: Mead from a StrangerBrother Darrell is back with us this week and our guest "Thumbs up for Mike" has joined us again as well. This week we get into to VERY interesting canned AND sparkling meads that some random dude gave to Johnny at Darklord Day earlier this year. Johnny attempted to pull one over on Darrell that we did NOT talk anything about Foldies and the Foundry Craft Kitchen in the back during last weeks recording session but he most definitely did not fall for that one haha. Both meads this week were quite good though one may be one of the most unique meads the guys have had before. The guys are treated to a special edition Foldie partway through the episode from Chef Steve and while we waited till after the show to sample it, it was AMAZING and SOOOOOOOOOOO worth the wait!! This being a bit shorter of an episode though still some fantastic beverages and good conversation.

Episode 142: F is for FoldieMr. Darrell had a prior engagement the morning of recording so we got a fill in for him, Chef Steve!! The majority of this episode is about food and some of the new food offerings at Starr Craft from the "Foundry Craft Kitchen" in the back of the building! With a main focus of the "Foldie" sandwich, the guys discuss some of the other AMAZING food they have as well. "Thumbs up for Mike" joined the guys again this week as well, he additionally works in the back with Chef Steve and some others. DO NOT WORRY THOUGH, there is plenty of conversation outside of JUST food this week with the awesome beer selections we had including 3 good beer choices varying from light and refreshing to a show favorite dark and HEAVY stout. Episode 141: Mikey Likes ItThe guys are joined this episode with a new guest, and also recently retired (congrats again brother) brewery regular Mike D! He attended "last weeks recording day" for the first time and got his first taste of Darklord while he was at it! Liked it so much, he came back for more so we made him sit down and chat with us this week. We get into some more stories from this years Darklord Day as well. Episode 140: Darklord Day 2026This is a tale about a group of guys who went out of state on a most grand of adventures! Along the way they make a number of stops, try new foods and make new friends as they traverse the vast distance of smoke supply stores between Michigan and Indiana (seriously there were like 23 in the final mile...) all the while trying many other beers at each stop. There are tales of tacos, a hot tub and a board game that was attempted to be played and failed, and of a heavy metal concert that was attended by all. This story includes words spoken from survivors of the mosh-pit and of many other tales from the day of Darklord, and a few from the day of Barklord following the big day, some from the days leading up to DLD as well... While there were only two big beers in this episode, the stories flow freely and continue into next weeks episode so make sure to tune in next week for more tales from the event and two more Darklord beers from Darkord Day 2026!!!

Episode 139: Duck in the DungeonWith a hefty discussion about D&D to start the episode, the guys get into a VERY interesting (and ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE) beer to start off, enough that Mr. Jim left a review for it on the spot on Untappd... Johnny, if to further prove how NOT RIGHT IN THE HEAD he is, did finish the can though, no surprise there... TRUST me DO NOT take up Brother Darrell in his offer for the remaining can of this... The next beer redeems it a bit though and the guys are back to their normal cheerful talkative selves! Oh and a new announcement from Brother Darrell on a new venture the Brewery is getting into, The Foundry! Check out their facebook pages for more details and information on that one. The guys get into some conversation about the mugs of the mug memberships and how coveted they used to be, then move onto the final beer of the episode. Episode 137: Pull the CorkThe guys are joined my Mr. Jeff's (aka Duffman) wife and one of the 3 sisters Sam this week for a bit different of an episode, we're doing WINE! It's really kinda hard to write too many notes here, we talk about wine, sampling, color, flavors, smells, Jim reads the descriptions AND attempts some accents while reading, some fun stories, one of the wines has some cherry in it that Darrell picks out RIGHT away... Overall the episode stays pretty well on topic in the first half, the second half has some more stories, some conversation about the bands that are going to be at Darklord day that happened last week too and some more fun stuff after that. Episode 135: Welcome BackWelcoming one of the three sisters Sam back to the show, the guys (and her) get into some locally produced and rather fancily dressed bottled beers in this weeks episode. Everyone having been tired, the guys presumably from a long weekend at Darklord Day, conversation as expected gets colorful towards the start until the beers FINALLY get pouring, then it varies rest of the show entirely. Johnny gets a bit vocal trying to get an employee to try a sample, don't think Darrell liked that so much, (Johnny sends his honest and most sincere apologies on that one)... Everyone talks a few stories about getting cutoff and/or kicked out of a bar, it really is an interesting episode, the conversations are a bit all over the place, which is pretty normal for us so I guess it's just a regular episode haha. We talk about calamari, beer, other stuff, more beer and so much else so just stop reading this and listen at this point!
