Episode 126: Good GollyAfter a brief and most wonderful serenade by Brother Darrell, and the realization Johnnys computer is literally falling apart, the guys finally kick the episode off with a few wonderful cider selections from Mr. Jim's collection. Good conversation this time about apples, apple trees and the cider processing, the guys get into other stories as always, like how at last weeks trivia, Johnny won a sugar scrub and body butter kit in the end of month ticket draw... Speaking of Mark, HI MARK!! He was driving by as this particular discussion happened haha. Episode 125: 22 Second SkipNot exactly sure what happened with this one, to Darrells delight, there were issues getting one of todays samples to open so we ended up skipping a whole bottle of wonderful (per Johnnys stance anyhow...) cherry wine. We did manage to recover with an absolutely FANTASTIC selection from a local maker followed by the lone beer the guys had in todays episode. Johnny did manage to get some of the "bonus" wine into a glass to sample along with TONS of cork bits though no one else wanted to try it with him... Topics this episode were a bit all over the place though they did discuss some of the upcoming trip the guys have planned to Darklord Day down at the 3 Floyd's brewery! Then move into some discussion of impulse buys, the Olympics, the wonderful actors "The Rock" and Nicolas Cage, and a lot of other fairly random stuff. It's still fun as always, just a bit out of some of our normal conversation channels, being that is in all fairness half the show though I guess it in a way still is normal... Not sorry for it either man, it was A LOT of fun haha. The guys are joined this week by a special guest, that kept another guest on edge the entire time! We were joined my Mr. Jeff's wife (and Zach from the titles mom...) Anne!! She brought with her an INSANELY good collection of Schramm's mead and each one seemed to get better than the one before. Everything was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and it was hard to choose a single favorite amongst them all. While the stories didn't get TOO wild, we did manage to still get a single story about Jeff, I mean Jipper and it wasn't TOO bad THIS TIME... Just means we are going to have to try and get her back again another time!! MOST of the conversation otherwise this episode is on topic and though is mead over beer, still very good conversation and even better beverages! So sit back with your favorite beverage and enjoy!!

Episode 120: Reach for the StarrsWell, it happened again, the guys were out of beer so they did a whole episode about Starr Craft brews, including a couple of new beers not yet available! There is a decent amount of BS and general conversation/beer conversation in this episode but all of todays beer (except the two...) are available RIGHT NOW at Starr Craft Brewery in Richmond Mi! Part way through they are rejoined by Mr. Matt after his return from a dog food sale. Episode 118: Whistle PigThe guys start this episode off with some fantastic bourbon and then a discussion about sparkling water... Don't worry, they get back to beer though after that! Stayed tuned for this whole episode too, there is a special music commercial before the show ends!! We get into a bit about bottle and equipment cleaning, Johnny attempts to tell a joke, we talk about chilling wort while making beer, brewing systems, and a bunch of other stuff... Not going to lie, quite tired so you're getting cliff notes for this weeks description. Conversation got weird enough JOHNNY had to bring it back to beer at one point while talking about a past party at Jims house; among other misc stuff, the guys talk about some new shows they want to watch, a new cartoon that's coming out, there's other stuff but think I'm done typing for now... Episode 117: FirestoneSliding right on into the episode this week, the guys get into some awesome beers from Firestone Walker Brewing Company out of California, courtesy of Mr. Jeff, thanks again Jeff!! First and foremost, apologies for Johnnys coughing, got some lingering BS going on that's been REALLY annoying. The episode stays mostly on topic again with a good variety of different beer from Firestone, PLENTY of side stories of course of the guys holidays gatherings, including a shout out and huge congratulations to Johnny's brother and his now fiance Kate! Other conversations on odd and random topics as usual, one of which was in another language for a few lines and then back to the topic at that time though still all mixed in with beer talk. Bit more of a tame episode in comparison but true to the beers they had and still a plenty fun one!
