Episode 25: DATE YOUR BEERS

The guys start off quoting one of their favorite shows and move into a SERIOUS point, DATE YOUR BEERS!!! The first beer of this episode, sits a little funky to the guys off the rip. Comparing a particular scent/flavor identifier to beers vs the "normal descriptors" the guys move into talking about a guy named Monty they know of... Moving onto a fancy hard to read beer, the guys get into their next beer of the day, which again they find a bit odd...  A bit of an oddities episode, though we still had fun with this for sure! After some serious talk about one of the upcoming High Gravity specialty beers, the guys wrap it up for this weeks episode.

Episode 24: Nutrient Condition

Starting the episode with an ice cream themed beer, moving into talking about soda water and birds being taught nefarious activities. Though posting a few weeks AFTER St. Patrick's day, the guys get into Darrells FANTASTIC move to dye his beard green. Getting into a bit of talk about the museum Johnny works at and moving onto the next beverage of the day, one of Darrells favorites, a cherry beer! The guys move into a bit of some odd foods they have had and dig into the beer at hand. Getting into some talk of shows the guys watch, yes they are cartoons and NOOOOO they are NOT  SHOWS FOR KIDS!! Then moving into a bit of talk about the last episode where Johnny was a bit out of it and some talk about chess. And Johnny has a surprise announcement at the end!

Episode 23: Live Studio Audience

This one starts off with Johnny pretty messed up already... They get into talking about Lizards and ya, this is an interesting episode, pretty sure Jim's a bit upset with Johnny here (he apologizes of course)... We have a few guests in the brewery studio with us throughout this episode, some of which make an appearance some of which absolutely refused to speak (haha, we still hear you though!!), but it was a fun episode otherwise, even amongst Johnnys rambling... Stick with us, I promise there is more beer talk, and Johnny's drunken squirrel brained ramblings... Again, sorry Jim, and Darrell!

Episode 22: MORE CLOWNS

Joined again by brother Phil, the guys get into some more beers from Clown Shoes and the BS starts right off the rip in this episode. Some more talk about Darklord Days and they talk about a Canadian show named after an ACTUAL town (seriously, look it up!) that is often quoted on our show, and some scuba diving tales from Johnny. Not gonna lie, there's A LOT of BS in this episode and apparently half the time Johnny and Phil were having different conversations from Darrell and Jim, who kept the show on point as best as they could!! After muting Johnny and Phil for awhile, Jim and Darrell TRY to rescue the episode for the last little bit of the show. After some talk on honey, this episode is done!

Episode 21: Brother Phil

The guys are joined this episode by Darrells younger brother Phil! This episode features a set of Polish beers procured by Brother Phil for all our enjoyment and review. Johnny tells a story of how he accidentally qualified for a third degree in college, a quick flashback to Jim's favorite beer label and then back on show topics of beer! Don't worry though, we went off the rails with discussion shortly thereafter even discussing some odd cuisines the guys want to try... Naturally back and forth a few more times of real show content and general BS so just sit back and enjoy the show!

Episode 20: The Sour Darrell

In this episode with just the guys again, we get into a few sour and cherry beers, Darrells absolute favorite kind of beers!!!! They actually stay on topic for quite awhile in this episode so not too much funny stuff to put in the description here, not that anyone reads these anyways... We did mention our Untappd profile again too, suppose we REALLY need to get that updated one of these days haha. A bit of talk about the 2nd Bibs and Brews event in conjunction with Commercial House and moving onto some discussion about Dark Lord Days coming up in May and some flashback stories of The Matrix movies.

Episode 19: A Taste of Home

Joined again by Mel, the guys get into a set of homebrews that were very graciously donated to the podcast for their sampling pleasure, one of which has a rather distinctive scent of Christmas! During this episode, the guys start to plan out a very important event and even set a date for it all to be ready, stay tuned for more details! Naturally conversation switches to food at some point, then back to the beer, some movie talk and a textbook discussion about American Barleywine as per the BJCP guidelines (weird switch back to ACTUAL related content I know) and some talk about a beer judging class Johnny took years ago, a class Mel took at Renaissance Fest and some talk about the guys wearing kilts!

Episode 18: Pretty sure I'm still drunk

Starting with the typical pre-show BS, the guys welcome a new guest Mel to the show! Don't worry, she was warned about us all before we started... Anyhow, we start the show off a new brew from Starr Craft, the Toasted Marshmallow, and talk a bit about Mels podcasting past before getting back into one of our topics of the week, desert beers! Referring to drinking cups and some oddities of said vessels, the show begins to go off the rails (as usual) fairly quick and then we're talking about seltzers...

Episode 17: Sticky Can Sticky Can

I know you read that to the beat of the "cat version" of the song... Enjoy this episode of the show where we get into some more good beers brother Phil brought to the show AND a guest appearance by the man himself after Darrell choked himself out and we lost him to the backroom... Starting the show out with some multi layered flavors of coconut and peanut butter coming in at 11% and eventually getting into the second beer of the day, a Mexican stout from the USA... What the hell happened to Darrel after that? Brother Phil shares with us his tale of acquiring "higher octane beers" for us while he was visiting New Jersey the other week... Eventually Darrell comes back and we TRY to get back on topic to not much avail...

Episode 16: Auto Brewery Syndrome

An interesting discussion about brewers yeast to start the episode off and how it can be cured... Then they finally get back on top of things with some beers provided by brother Phil and more science discussions... This episode was Darrells turn to spill some beer and all still continues as the guys get into talking about work and liking what you do... Some talk about the upcoming FIVE YEAR anniversary party in July and some about the Museum of Offroad Adventure car show in September. After a minor equipment malfunction, the guys get back and get into and get on the topic of dating apps and then it kinda devolves from there, so ya know, back to the usual!!
