High Gravity
High Gravity is a show where we talk about beer, brewing, and bullshit! Our primary goal is to talk about Michigan goings on in the beer world and local happenings around our beautiful state. Our aim is to present this information in a fun and not too serious way so that everyone from new brewers and beer drinkers to the most seasoned and experienced enthusiasts can enjoy the show! The more we drink during the show, the more comes out and the more fun we have so language CAN get a bit colorful at times though we do our best to keep it in check, most of the time!! Enjoy this episode of the show where we get into some more good beers brother Phil brought to the show AND a guest appearance by the man himself after Darrell choked himself out and we lost him to the backroom... Starting the show out with some multi layered flavors of coconut and peanut butter coming in at 11% and eventually getting into the second beer of the day, a Mexican stout from the USA... What the hell happened to Darrel after that? Brother Phil shares with us his tale of acquiring "higher octane beers" for us while he was visiting New Jersey the other week... Eventually Darrell comes back and we TRY to get back on topic to not much avail...

An interesting discussion about brewers yeast to start the episode off and how it can be cured... Then they finally get back on top of things with some beers provided by brother Phil and more science discussions... This episode was Darrells turn to spill some beer and all still continues as the guys get into talking about work and liking what you do... Some talk about the upcoming FIVE YEAR anniversary party in July and some about the Museum of Offroad Adventure car show in September. After a minor equipment malfunction, the guys get back and get into and get on the topic of dating apps and then it kinda devolves from there, so ya know, back to the usual!!

Bottling discussions about some differences and pros/cons of in bottle carbonating vs force carbonating and yeast talk! How yeasts can effect the brew and how re-cycled yeasts evolve their own flavor profile over time. Finishing out this weeks episode, we bring up the story of the river beer again and a new story of a VERY special and enjoyable beach!
