Episode 61: Salve Mater

It's Latin ok, I was trying to be creative and funny, means "Hello Mother" in case you were wondering haha.
Johnny managed to setup this interview with our special guest, Starr Craft regular and mother of "The Sisters" Carol as a TOTAL surprise to the guys AND we all managed to keep it a secret so her daughters Linsey, Sam and Becky, are finding out THEIR MOM was on the show as the episode drops to THE WHOLE WORLD!! Carol fits right in with everyone and we had an absolute blast and are most definitely going to have her back on the show for future episodes! In somewhat unusual fashion, we stay manage to stay fairly on beer talk topic most of the episode too! Episode 60: Just Open a Beer

Brought to you by special forgetfulness to upload during the week, enjoy this special release, intended random drop episode on a Sunday! Definitely one of our shorter episodes and unfortunately starting the episode off with a rather bad beer, or at least everyone but Johnny thinks so, the guys do manage to have some rather good beers in this one! INCLUDING a couple Johnny brought that he got from a gas station in Detroit and on clearance no less! While talking about some kettle equipment and clearance price brewing ingredients and equipment, the guys move onto some discussions of homebrews past and move onto more kegging talk. Getting towards the end of this episode, with some talk of the king and the mob, the guys finally draw the episode to a close...

Episode 59: Plan Random Drop FAIL

While the guys were messaging in the group chat on a random Tuesday, it came to light that no one had anything going on, ONE OF THEM was already a few drinks in and more beer sounded GREAT!! So they all went down to the place where they all know their names and try to cobble something together... After presenting a new idea for show promos and IMMEDIATELY failing at that attempt they move into why Jim was absent at the Halloween party... This episode has an EXTRA amount of BS this week, don't worry, there's only one more after this and we return to our regularly scheduled and un-planned show! Maybe you'll get a bonus episode middle of next week of that one, maybe I'm going to forget and make it a next Sunday drop, who knows, guess we'll all get to find out! No worries though, SOMEHOW we still manage to stay on topic and actually talk about beer, a little bit at least anyways lmao. Episode 58: Fanfare

Once again Mr Bill has graced us with his presence and some absolutely FANTASTIC beverages! Starting off with a mead (or rather Metheglin to be proper...) that he brewed with some unique honey and spice. Starting into some stories about social games and some interesting tales from the airport of both Johnny and Jim, this one is another very brewing related episode with a lot of mead brewing, technique and ingredient discussions. Yet another VERY important rule for homebrewing is discussed in this episode as well that everyone says in unison (seriously we did not practice OR plan that!) before moving back to brewing talk. This is a longer than normal episode so after a brief break to make some donations, the guys all get right back into the wonderful meads of Mr. Bill! Seriously, thanks again sir! Post break the levels in the beverages start to catch up to the guys and the show gets them back to the usual BS you all know and love!!

Episode 56: The Return of Mr Bill

The guys welcome back Mr. Bill in this fun filled episode full of home brews and a two commercial brews he had a hand in the making of. The episode starts out with a bit of educational information and technical speak of what goes into the Scotch Ales the guys are starting the episode with. Moving into the acquisition of some random field grown hops he came across, that have since been cultivated, grown under his loving and guiding care and are now presented to the guys in several different beers! Getting into some comparisons of the two beers and one of Mr. Bills beers all made with the same hops this is definitely one of our more on topic episodes about beer. FEAR NOT HOWEVER, the BS you all know and love comes into play a bit later into the episode!! Then we quickly determine it the best option to end it before it gets TOO bad, enjoy and tune in to next weeks episode when Mr. Bill joins us again!

Episode 54: Trying New Things

Starting the episode off with a warm welcome to their newest guest, the guys welcome Becky and Sams other sister Linsey to the show! Starting her off with some of the Snake Venom and Beithir Fire from last weeks episode, they get into some wonderfully delicious meads they found in the fridge. After talking briefly about Jims dongle, they get back on topic with a fantastic Apple Cyser and a unique new offering from Starr Craft, Peanut Butter Jelly Time! They add in some discussion on some ideas for a new bottle share membership plan for the brewery, make sure to stay tuned for more details on this! While realizing how toasty Johnnys has been this episode, STILL feeling the effects from the worlds strongest beers on LAST weeks episode, everyone gets into a bit of talk of costumes for the upcoming Halloween party and move into a shirtless story from a night at the brewery. Stories go downhill however shortly thereafter so we opted to end this episode...

Welcoming our newest guest Bob to the show (he joined us on the hot wing episode too) and with the Return of the White brothers, Eric (amERICan™) and Erin (BREW™), we try 2 beers hailed as the strongest beers in the world and cleanse the palette with some wonderfully refreshing Darklord.
