Episode 118: Whistle PigThe guys start this episode off with some fantastic bourbon and then a discussion about sparkling water... Don't worry, they get back to beer though after that! Stayed tuned for this whole episode too, there is a special music commercial before the show ends!! We get into a bit about bottle and equipment cleaning, Johnny attempts to tell a joke, we talk about chilling wort while making beer, brewing systems, and a bunch of other stuff... Not going to lie, quite tired so you're getting cliff notes for this weeks description. Conversation got weird enough JOHNNY had to bring it back to beer at one point while talking about a past party at Jims house; among other misc stuff, the guys talk about some new shows they want to watch, a new cartoon that's coming out, there's other stuff but think I'm done typing for now... OH and enjoy the song in this one! DEFINITELY a longer commercial break than normal but it's awesome!

Episode 117: FirestoneSliding right on into the episode this week, the guys get into some awesome beers from Firestone Walker Brewing Company out of California, courtesy of Mr. Jeff, thanks again Jeff!! First and foremost, apologies for Johnnys coughing, got some lingering BS going on that's been REALLY annoying. The episode stays mostly on topic again with a good variety of different beer from Firestone, PLENTY of side stories of course of the guys holidays gatherings, including a shout out and huge congratulations to Johnny's brother and his now fiance Kate! Other conversations on odd and random topics as usual, one of which was in another language for a few lines and then back to the topic at that time though still all mixed in with beer talk. Bit more of a tame episode in comparison but true to the beers they had and still a plenty fun one!

Originating from a day trip to Cleveland, some dude named Phil standing in the street with a stack of pallets (Hey Phil) and a quick discussion about a can of PB Blaster, a few fantastic beers followed Johnny home to become this episode! Previously from Great Lakes Brewing Company, NOW from his own brewery, Collision Bend Brewing Company, Mr. Luke Purcell joins the guys for their first remote phone interview! Getting into some stories of his and the brewery's history, the area surrounding it and even a story about the Edmund Fitzgerald Porter (by GLBC) AND how the river by the brewery caught fire a few times. Yes I did say a RIVER CAUGHT ON FIRE!! Unusually MOST of this episode is about beer, breweries, the brewing process and our community as a whole. While not a lot of BS the guys manage to stay on topic almost the entire time! LOTS of GREAT conversation with Mr. Luke and while this episode is one of our longer ones, the only reason we stopped was the brewery was about to open and we still had to clean up...

Episode 115: Christmas 2025Starting with our traditional Christmas story, we at High Gravity want to wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and/or Happy/Merry whatever else you may celebrate!! Anyways, we start out with one of the strangest beers we have had, following a story of a REALLY odd holiday game that is apparently played (news to me anyways haha), the beer itself was EXACTLY as one would think, it was... Interesting... Episode 114: Butter on a Pop tartWe started the episode out with some random chatting and BS as usual, including a short serenade from Mr Jim before finally getting into the first of our VERY strong selections of the day! Some fairly mild conversation this episode really, decent amount a beer chat with the beers featured today though the BS conversations were uncharacteristically mild for the guys... I'll be honest, I forgot to work on a lot of the notes for this while editing, there was some conversation about the most recent trivia night at the brewery and somehow Johnny ended up winning the whole thing, I guess he may very well be smarter than a 5th grader...  There were some interesting tales from the days of Blockbuster Video Stores and some other stuff I kind of forgot to write down so I'm not going to add too much more here just to say tune in and enjoy!!

Episode 113: Johnnys Beer Box

Episode 113: Johnnys Beer BoxJoined by THREE guests (Sam, Al and Deb) this episode making it the most we have had at one time! This third session episode is a bit short but it's a VERY fun, beer and mostly BS filled episode. We get through a couple extra beers and do so WAY faster than normal with all the guests, and though it is a bit distracting with so many people, the BS flows FAR TOO WELL.! OH, and to finish the call out, Sam is going to be making us a cheesecake so we will have that to review at some point in the future and will DEFINITELY WILL NOT FORGET! Somehow we got into some food talk towards the end and collectively decide we needed to STOP recording with where it was all going so enjoy this weeks episode and tune in next week!!

Episode 112: Johnny NOOOOOOJoined again by Sam and this time Deb joins as well for our 2nd episode of the session! Starting the episode off with a coffee beer, the beers keep coming and the conversation keeps a flowin! The BS starts off pretty early and continues through the episode though there is still a lot of beer talk amongst it! Partway through the episode, Deb switches out with a new guest, Mr Al! No $50 two pack or $29 special shoe pricing this time and unfortunately the 2nd beer he joined the guys for just so happened to be one of the worst ones we've had on the show... While Johnny still liked it and finished all the samples (ya we know, he's an odd one...) EVERYONE quickly dumped that and moved onto the next one, guess there has to be a miss every now and then with all the beers these guys do and there's quite a few in this episode!

Episode 110: Return of the Donkey

Episode 110: Return of the DonkeyNeapolitan ice cream themed beers are featured in the majority of this episode, for the most part anyways. The guys get into some cooking suggestions and other  recommendations, a few brief spicy details along with plenty of other stories and random BS as usual. Mr. Jim brought some SUPER HOT hot sauce for the guys to try out this week and the donkey makes a comeback along with a special guest towards the end of the episode who calls out all the guys when he tries Jim's special sauce, sorry for the volume from Johnny... Still some great beers and a very fun episode even if we did try to burn Johnny to the ground!!
