Episode 106: Give em the SchwarzMr. Bill joins the guys again along with some more of his CRAZY GOOD homebrews. The episode starts off very on topic with a fair bit of cider discussion. Johnny adds some more discussion about the Wheels in the Woods event from a few weeks ago, and the guys move onto an AMAZING mead selection from Mr. Bill. With so much beer and brewing discussion going on this episode, UNFORTUNATELY Darrell has to step in and call an end to recording this week so the brewery can OPEN for the day and they can do business and stuff... Oh well, they all had a great time and a big THANK YOU again to Mr. Bill for joining us again and bringing all the wonderful things he has brought us, until next time sir!!

Episode 105: Mr. Bills BagOne of our shorter episodes this week, Mr. Bill has again graced the guys with his presence and his WONDERFUL bag 'o beverages!! Starting the episode off with one of Mr. Darrell's favorites a rather unique farmhouse style sour and moving quickly onto another of Mr. Bill's AMAZING homebrews! Johnny talks a bit about the brewery Oktoberfest party and a bit about one of his first homebrew beers and the judging class from long ago and the beer fridge he has in the garage now! Moving into the next beverage from Mr. Bills bag, a VERY interesting one with a spicy kick that was a bit of an unexpected surprise for Johnny, and a cherry element that was an interesting twist for Darrell too! It doesn't QUITE go how you think it may go if you listen regularly but you're going to have to listen if you want to know how it goes...

Episode 104: Second AnniversaryJoining the guys for this special occasion, Mr. Bill graced the guys with his presence once again and brought a treat they have been talking about for close to two years now!! They were absolutely AMAZING and went SOOOO well with the choices in studio when they recorded, apologies for the chewing sounds but MAN were they good!! The guys have been out of the studio for awhile so they do catch up with some stories of what they've been up to while intermixing some beer talk. A LOT of BS in this episode but still SOME actual beer talk! Cheers to all of you for sticking with us up until now, and here's to many more episodes to come!

Episode 102: Staring at these BeersThis episode takes on a Michigan summer beer theme, everything the guys get into this is from Michigan and has some sort of tropical or summer theme. Johnny and Jim talk about the group visit to Schram's Meadery and some other stops around Ferndale they made the weekend before. WONDERFUL trip btw if you haven't been, HIGHLY recommend visiting! Overall it's a VERY beer focused episode, with Johnny talking about a new PBR variant he came across and Darrell talking about some new fall themed beverage variations the brewery will be offering very soon!! Also, Johnny apologizes for all the clearing this episode, he's been working around A LOT of old dust and dirt lately...

Episode 101: Beers we haven't hadStarting off with an unusual style of beer, and an unusually older one for the guys, the first one was graciously donated by Mr. Jeff the beer donator, thank you again Mr. Jeff! Sadly A LOT of the beers characteristics seem to have fallen off though... MOSTLY this episode stays on topic with beer discussions, though as the conversation goes a bit towards NOT good things about a local guy at another bar, the guys are HAPPILY interrupted from this and are joined by Mr. Mike Scalici of Scalici's Pizza!! Catching him back up with a few of last weeks beers (not sure how/what those are still good from a whole week ago...) and then getting into the new ones from this weeks episode! He gives us an update on how they are doing and tells us of some of the new gloriously amazing food offerings they have in the back! Then the rest of the episode is mixed beer talk and BS back and forth with Mike... So sit back and enjoy the show and when you have a chance come down (or up/sideways or whatever I suppose...) to the brewery for some nice refreshing beer and step in the back to order some AMAZING Scalici's wood fire cooked pizza, pretzels and smoked wings!!

Episode 99: Cheers to PudgeIn this wonderfully mead filled episode, the guys continue their occupation of the super secret location, use courtesy of Mr. Jeff and his wife, along with the same guest appearances of Mr. Jeff on the mic and everyone's wives (and Johnny's mixer...) in the background. This being essentially a third episode of this recording session, the guys call a cheers and salute to an absolute show favorite who has never actually spoken a single recorded word. The BS is very prevalent in the episode though it was A LOT of fun with good people and a bunch of fantastic mead, lots of good mead related conversation and ACTUAL show content too! Oh, and the guys tried to kill Johnny again with another hot pepper mead... Episode 97: Swallow the MicThe BS starting a bit strong this episode, the guys started out by grabbing brewery regular and corn hole aficionado Mr. Mark right off the street (kind of literally...) and forced him to sit down and have some drinks with them. Starting with a beer Johnny finally tried over the weekend that ended up being WAY better than expected! Then they got into some real beer so all was right in the world again. The good beer keeps going as does the conversation with the new guest all turning into just an overall good episode! Moving into the final choice beverage of the day, a Dark Lord variant from show favorite 3 Floyds! Realizing as I'm writing this, the guys got through the show beers WAY early in this episode and almost half the episode is just random BSand fin conversation towards the end!!!
